The Minnesota Telecommunications Association (MTA) has changed its name to the Communications Technology Association of Minnesota (CTA). "Our new name more accurately reflects the broadening scope of our
members' responsibilities in the communications technology industry and our position as a resource for their networking and educational needs."
states CTA President, Felicia Ostergaard. Membership categories and the activities of the association will remain consistent with those under the previous name, including eight monthly education meetings and an annual conference in the
spring.
New features of the CTA will include an electronic newsletter and a redesigned website scheduled to go live in September.
The Communications Technology Association of Minnesota is a professional organization for individuals and enterprises working in the area of communication technologies including data, voice, video, web services, unified messaging, and all other forms of communications, their underlying infrastructures and business applications. As an organization the CTA is built on a foundation of business process and technical education as well as professional networking opportunities.
Our mission is to provide educational and networking opportunities for the advancement of communication technology professionals. Our vision is to be the premier association for communication technology professionals in Minnesota.
