Enventis, a subsidiary of HickoryTech and a Cisco Gold Partner, provides IP-based voice, data and network solutions to businesses. We are seeking qualified candidates for a Customer Support Specialist at our Plymouth, MN location.
Primary responsibilities include acting as primary contact for customers for customer service and sales support to trouble shoot problems, answer inquiries, prepare quotes and assess new service opportunities. Minimum qualifications include a 2 year degree or the equivalent in experience (4 year degree preferred), 2-3 years in telecommunications, customer service, sales, or related experience, familiary with current telecommunication industry, local voice services, IP technologies and Cisco products, able to use automated sales and provisioning tools, computer proficieny, strong customer service and organizational skills, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and valid driver’s license with good driving record.

Network Engineer I - Encompass
Enventis, a subsidiary of HickoryTech and a Cisco Gold Partner, provides IP-based voice, data and network solutions to businesses. We are seeking qualified candidates for a Network Engineer I - Encompass at our Plymouth, MN location.
Primary responsibilities include supporting our Cisco based, VoIP product by providing design, implementation and second level operational support services for small/medium sized customers, performing move, add, changes as required, and providing second level engineering problem resolution. Minimum qualifications include a 2-year degree in a technology field or the equivalent in experience, two to three years networking and data experience, knowledge of Cisco equipment implementation and software configurations (certifications preferred), knowledge of IP and related protocols, excellent analytical troubleshooting and communication skills, and strong customer service and organizational skills. Experience with VoIP technology strongly preferred. Frequent travel is required.
